Raw, of course. Wood is wood. Stone is stone. And of course this is also reflected in a reduction in the overall design. An interior that fits the landscape.

The people who run it. It's honest. Down to earth. Minimal. Earthy – in a relaxed way. A place to simply be – to feel good. The design of the Design Hotel »Haus Jausern« is characterized by a reduction to the essential.

There are no decorative elements. Everything is deliberately and purposefully selected. Everything has a function. Nothing can be left out. It's about a return - a focus on being able to »just be« as a guest. Since frills only disturbs. The special features are the extremely reduced use of materials.

Stone and wood. Materials that can be found in the immediate vicinity of the wildness of the Glemmtal. This is sustainable and connects the inside with the outside. Paired with linen fabrics and fluorescent tubes.
